RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute the Real Property Services Agreement (Agreement) to provide right of way services by the County to the Solano Transportation Authority (STA) for the I-80/I-680/SR-12 Interchange Project, in an amount not to exceed $75,000, effective December 1, 2010 until terminated by either party.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Solano Transportation Authority will pay the actual costs for Real Property staff right of way services. The agreement will result in $75,000 from the Solano Transportation Authority.

BACKGROUND:

STA requires a variety of right of way services but has no right of way staff and has contracted with the County for these services. Real Property staff will conduct general management of right of way activities, which includes, developing and monitoring right of way schedule, reviewing title reports and investigating title concerns, attend regularly scheduled meeting and public meetings.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

STA would not be able to contract for the County’s right of way services.

CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:

Not applicable.
