RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20972 to reduce the hours of one (1) Permanent Full-Time Pharmacist I (VYWA) (represented) position # 14377 from 40/40 to 20/40 in the Health Services Department.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Upon approval, this action will result in a cost savings.

BACKGROUND:

The Health Services Department recently requested the addition of a full-time Pharmacist I position (#14377), however, the request should have been for a Part-time 20/40 position. This action will correct the Department's error and reduce the hours of the positions to 20/40.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, the Department will have a Pharmacist position with more assigned hours than needed.
