RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT report from the Local Child Care and Development Planning Council on activities during calendar year 2009 relating to the implmentation of the Comprehensive Countywide Child Care Plan for 2008-2011 and the 2009 Annual Report, as recommended by the Family and Human Services Committee.

BACKGROUND:

On November 16, 2009 the Family and Human Services Committee received a report fromt he Local Child Care Planning Council for Child Care and Development on the Countywide Child Care Plan and their 2009 annual report. The Committee accepted both reports, thanked the Local Child Care Planning Council and requested that the reports be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for their acceptance.
