BACKGROUND:

On November 10, 2009 the Board of Supervisors approved the establishment and the by-laws for the Integrated Pest Management Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee includes eleven members including three at-large public members, and one non-voting Pest Management Contractor non-voting member. This action will appoint seven of the eleven members - those that serve based on the department they work for or the position they hold. Public members are being recruited and recommendations will be subsequently forwarded to the Board for approval. The proposals for a new pest management contractor are being evaluated and, once the contractor is selected and the contract awarded, this non-voting position will be filled.

CLERK'S ADDENDUM
