RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Personnel Adjustment Resolution No. 20756 to cancel one (1) permanent, full-time Deputy Sheriff – 40 hour (6XWA) position # 3039, and add one permanent, full-time (1) Sergeant (6XTA) position to the Patrol Division – Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO), in the Office of the Sheriff.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This action is 100% funded by the U.S. Army, Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO). No General Fund monies.

BACKGROUND:

The Office of the Sheriff provides law enforcement and security services to the U.S. Army – Military Ocean Terminal Concord through a contractual agreement. In November 2009, the Office of the Sheriff received notice from the U.S. Army, Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO), requesting the cancellation of one Deputy Sheriff position and addition of one Sergeant position to the staffing levels at MOTCO.
