RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2022/386 ratify the prior decision of the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close 2^nd Avenue between Ceres Street and Starr Street, except for emergency traffic, on October 30, 2022 from 6:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m., for the purpose of the First (1^st) Annual Oktoberfest Festival, Crockett area. (District V)

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

Crockett Chamber of Commerce is seeking a road closure for the 1^st Annual Oktoberfest Festival. This is a free event and will include live music, seating, and dancing space. Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Applicant will not have Board approval for completed road closure.
