This contract meets the needs of the County by providing professional technical support, training, and consulting services on Epic systems to Health Services IT support (CCHS), as well as Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) hospital and clinical staff, patients, and health care providers. BlueTree has been providing ongoing support since 2015.
On January 5, 2021, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-571-6 with BlueTree Network, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $2,500,000 for the provision of consulting, technical support, and training to the Health Services Department’s Information Systems Unit, including assistance with Epic, the electronic medical records, and billing system for Contra Costa Regional Center for the period from January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2023.
In September 2021, the corporation changed its name from BlueTree Network, Inc., to Tegria Services Group – US, Inc. Due to an administrative miscommunication, the contract was not amended promptly to reflect the change in the corporation’s name. As a result, invoices due to the contractor for services rendered remain outstanding.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-571-7 will change the corporation’s name from BlueTree Network, Inc., to Tegria Services Group – US, Inc. and allow the contractor to receive payment for services rendered and continue to provide services through December 31, 2023.
If this amendment is not approved, the contract will not reflect the contractor’s new corporate name, and the County will be unable to pay invoices due for services rendered. Monies owed by the County will remain outstanding, and services will be discontinued, negatively affecting patient care.
