RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE amendments to the List of Designated Positions of the Conflict of Interest Code of the Department of Conservation and Development ("DCD").

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The DCD has amended the List of Designated Positions of its Conflict of Interest Code and submitted the revised List of Designated Positions, attached as Exhibit A, to the Board of Supervisors for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5.

The recommended changes include the addition of six positions, the deletion of two positions, and revision to the title of one position designated to file conflict of interest statements. This change will ensure that the Conflict of Interest Code accurately reflects the current positions and organizational structure in use by the DCD. A red-lined version of the List of Designated Positions is included as Exhibit B.
