RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE amendments to the list of designated positions in the Conflict of Interest Code for the Department of Child Support Services ("DCSS").

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The DCSS amended its list of designated positions in the Appendix A to its Conflict of Interest Code and submitted the revised Code to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5. The Appendix A has been revised to delete three positions and add two positions. A final version of the Code, including Appendix A, is attached hereto as Exhibit A.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

These changes will ensure that the Conflict of Interest Code accurately reflects the current positions and organizational structure in use by the DCSS. A red-lined version of the Conflict of Interest Code is attached as Exhibit B.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

None.
