RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract Amendment Agreement #72-131-1 with Full Court Press Communications Incorporated, a corporation, effective November 1, 2020, to amend Contract #72-131, to increase the payment limit by $750,000, from $300,000 to a new payment limit of $1,050,000 and to extend the termination date from February 28, 2021 to December 31, 2021, for additional consulting, technical support and strategic planning for County’s Community Connect Program and COVID-19 response and communications.   

FISCAL IMPACT:

This contract is funded 100% by Whole Person Care funding.

BACKGROUND:

On July 23, 2019, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #72-131 with Full Court Press Communications Incorporated, to provide consulting, technical support and strategic planning for County’s Community Connect program for the period August 1, 2019 through February 28, 2021.

Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #72-131-1 will allow Contractor to provide additional services through December 31, 2021.  

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this amendment is not approved, the Health Services Department will not receive additional support from Contractor for the Community Connect Program and COVID-19 response and communications.
