RECOMMENDATION(S):

CONVENE special meeting at the Industrial Association of Contra Costa County Supervisors Luncheon event and discuss Supervisors’ goals and plans for County services and initiatives in 2020.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no cost to attend this meeting, although there is a cost for lunch. The lunch is optional, and anyone who wishes to attend the meeting without purchase of lunch is still welcome to attend the meeting. The Industrial Association of Contra Costa County has asked that attendees RSVP.

BACKGROUND:

The Industrial Association is proud to host its annual Supervisors Luncheon. Each year the members of the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisor’s are invited to meet with the Association member companies, hear their most pressing challenges and concerns, and to share with the Association members their goals and plans for the coming year. In anticipation that a majority of the Board of Supervisors will be in attendance at this privately sponsored event, the public is given notice of the date, time and location of the event. See the attached program for more information.
