RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPOINT Madhan Gunasekaran to the District 3 seat on the Fish & Wildlife Committee to a term expiring February 28, 2024 as recommended by Supervisor Diane Burgis.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Fish and Wildlife Committee advises the Board of Supervisors on fish and wildlife issues in Contra Costa County, including use of funds from the Fish & Wildlife Propagation Fund pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 13103.

The term for this seat expired February 28, 2022. Applications were accepted and the recommendation to appoint the above individual was then determined.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The District 3 seat would be left vacant.
