RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE the attached list of providers recommended by Contra Costa Health Plan's Medical Director on August 29, 2018, and by the Health Services Director, as required by the State Department of Health Care Services and Managed Health Care, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

FISCAL IMPACT:

BACKGROUND:

The National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) requires that evidence of Board of Supervisors approval must be contained within each Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) Provider’s credentials file. Approval of the attached list of providers as recommended by the CCHP Medical Director will enable the CCHP to comply with this requirement.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, CCHP’s Providers would not be appropriately credentialed and not be in compliance with the NCQA.
