RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #77-130 with Erik Grasso (DBA Analytical Behavior Consultants), a sole proprietor, in an amount not to exceed $1,200,000, to provide applied behavior analysis services for Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) members for the period from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2019.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan Enterprise Fund II.

BACKGROUND:

The Health Plan has an obligation to provide certain specialized health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County.

Under Contract #77-130, the contractor will provide applied behavior analysis services to CCHP members through September 30, 2019.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, Contra Costa Health Plan members will not receive the benefits of applied behavior analysis services from the contractor.
