RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #76-560 with Esther Kwon, M.D., an individual, in an amount not to exceed $190,000, to provide podiatry services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers (CCRMC) for the period from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #76-560, the Contractor will provide podiatry services, including, but not limited to: consulting, clinic coverage, training, and medical/surgical procedures through September 30, 2017.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, patients requiring podiatry services at CCRMC will not have access to Contractor’s services.
