APPOINT Chad Davisson, David Dal Porto and Michael Welty to the Reclamation District No. 830 Board of Trustees, as recommended by Supervisor Mary Nejedly Piepho.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The term of all three members of the Board of Trustees of Jersey Island Reclamation District No. 830 expire in November 2015. At the Ironhouse Sanitary District Board Meeting held September 1, 2015 only one person was nominated for each vacancy. As only three persons were nominated an election shall not be held and the Board of Supervisors shall appoint the nominees to the office of the Trustee (Water Code Sections 50740 and 50742).

Reclamation District No. 830 therefore respectfully requests that the Board of Supervisors appoint the nominees for the Offices of Trustee.
