RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Conflict of Interest Code for the Diablo Community Services District (“District”).

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The District has adopted a new Conflict of Interest Code and submitted the new code, attached as Exhibit A, to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

The District is undergoing a comprehensive update to its ordinance code, and as part of that update has repealed its current conflict of interest code and adopted the new code, attached. The adoption of this new conflict of interest code for the District satisfies the requirements for such a code under state law.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

None.
