RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE amended Conflict of Interest Code, including the list of designated positions, for the Contra Costa County Office of Education ("CCCOE").

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The CCCOE has amended its Conflict of Interest Code, including the list of designated positions, and submitted the revised code, attached as Exhibit A, to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5.

The CCCOE's revised code includes updates to the list of positions designated to file conflict of interest statements. These changes will ensure that the CCCOE's Conflict of Interest Code is consistent with its current organizational structure. The changes are shown on the attached red-line version of the code, attached as Exhibit B.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

None.
