RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #77-032-3 with Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, LLC, a limited liability company, in an amount not to exceed $700,000, to provide long term acute care hospital services for Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) Members for the period February 1, 2020 through January 31, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by CCHP Enterprise Fund II. (Rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

On February 26, 2019, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #77-032-2 with Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, LLC, to provide long term acute care hospital services for CCHP Members for the period February 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

Approval of Contract #77-032-3 will allow Contractor to continue to provide long term acute care hospital services for CCHP Members through January 31, 2021.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, certain specialized health care services for CCHP Members will not be provided.
