RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT resignation of Jan Hunter, DECLARE a vacancy in the Business Seat No. 19 seat on the Workforce Development Board, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Department Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None

BACKGROUND:

Jan Hunter was appointed to the workforce Development Board on June 28, 2011 with an expiration date of June 30, 2014.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Workforce Development Board will find it difficult to conduct routine business and fill vacant seats as required by federal and state law.
