RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Appropriations and Revenue Adjustment No. 5041 authorizing new revenue in the amount of $18,802 from ESSAI, Inc. and David A. Breach, and appropriating it for the purchase of additional safety equipment for the Sheriff's Office SWAT team.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The action increases revenue and appropriations by $18,802. No change in net county cost.

BACKGROUND:

Each year the Office of the Sheriff receives donations from individuals and various community organizations to help fund programs throughout the Sheriff's Office. The amount of $18,802 was donated by ESSAI, Inc. and David A. Breach to purchase additional safety equipment for the Office of the Sheriff SWAT team.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Donation revenue will not be recognized and appropriated for expenditure.
