RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE amended Central Contra Costa Sanitary District Conflict of Interest Code to substitute the attached as said code.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District has amended its conflict of interest code and submitted the revised code to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

The Amendments include incorporating the FPPC model conflict of interest code, adding positions with disclosure obligations, defining “consultant,” and revising disclosure categories. These changes are shown on the attached red-line version of the code.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District will not be in compliance with Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5.
