RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2012/26 modifying the terms of office for the Knighten Town Advisory Council, as recommended by Supervisor Piepho.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The members of the Knightsen Community Services District Board of Directors served as the Knightsen Town Advisory Council during the period of January 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011 as well as and July 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011. The members of the Knightsen TAC and the Knightsen Community Services District (CSD) Board of Directors have expressed interest in having the elected Knightsen CSD Directors perform the Knightsen TAC functions for an additional year.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

Under this resolution the Council Members shall serve a year term from January 1, 2012, to December 31, 2012.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Non-modification of current term.
