RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2012/4 accepting as complete the contracted work performed by Malachi Paving & Grading, Inc., for the Market Avenue Sidewalk Improvements project, Project No. 0662-6R4116, as recommended by the Public Works Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The project construction was funded by 38% Transportation Development Act funds, 33% Redevelopment funds, 16% Local funds, and 13% Community Development Block Grant funds.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved plans, special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of December 2, 2011.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The contractor will not be paid and acceptance notification will not be recorded.

CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:

Not Applicable.
