RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT Canvass of Votes for Police Area P-6, Zone 2606, Subdivision 9004
Supervisorial District 5 - Unincorporated Martinez Area

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

The Board will receive the Certificate of the County Clerk giving the results of the December 6, 2011 Special Election for County Service Area P-6, Zone 2606, Subdivision 9004, wherein each landowner of the affected area was allowed one vote for each acre or portion thereof on Resolution No. 2011/376 so as to authorize a special tax on property located in Zone 2606, Subdivision 9004 of County Service Area P-6 to maintain the present level of police protection service and provide additional funding for increased police protection service.

The Board hereby ACCEPTS the Canvass of votes from the County Clerk-Recorder showing the Measure passed as follows:
