RECOMMENDATION(S):

Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution #21029 to cancel Network Analyst II position #9113 and add one Network Administrator II (LNSB) position at salary level ZA5 1787 ($6096.52 - 7410.35) in the Health Services Department.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Upon approval, there will be no additional cost associated with this action.

BACKGROUND:

The Network Analyst II position is vacant and is no longer needed. The Network Administator II position will be assigned to the Health Services Information Technology Division and is needed to support the division wide backup solution, support windows servers, and manage the storage network architecture.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, the Health Services Information Technology Division will not have the appropriately classified position to perform the required job duties.
