RECOMMENDATION(S):

Declare vacant the Physician seat held by E. Ronald Riggall, M.D. on the Managed Care Commission and direct the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.


Declare vacant the Member-at-Large 3 seat on the Managed Care Commission and direct the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

Dr. Riggall has resigned from his position on the Managed Care Commission effective September 8, 2010 due to health issues.

Bob Sessler resigned from his position on the Managed Care Commission effective the beginning of November to avoid conflict of interest with his acceptance of Consultation services to the Contra Costa Health Plan and EHSD’s Bureau of Aging and Adult Services.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

None.
