RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20878, to add three (3) 40/40 Exempt Medical Staff Physician (VPW9) (represented) positions at salary level 1P2 2220 ($9,915.82-$14,010.79) in the Health Services Department.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of $768,532.55, including an annual pension cost of $256,689.87, and will be completely offset by Federal dedicated funding. This action will result in no county cost.  
  

BACKGROUND:

The Health Services Department is requesting the addition of three Exempt Medical Staff Physician positions in order to effectively staff the Electronic Medical Record Implementation the Department is undergoing.


CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this request is not approved, the Department will not be able to effectively manage the Electronic Medical Record Implementation.
