RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchase Agent, on behalf of Health Services Director, to add funds to existing Purchase Order F27165 with NetworkD Corporation in the amount of $67,901.35 for a new total of $132,647.15, for LANDesk maintenance renewals.

FISCAL IMPACT:

100% Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

LANDesk has been used within the Health Services Department for approximately eight to ten years. This is required Maintenance Renewals for LANDesk Management Suite Pro and LANDesk Patch Manager v8.8. LANDesk allows our Customer Service Center & Information Systems Technicians to remotely manage and repair Personal Computer Workstations with Contra Costa County. These software modules are part of the our current LANDesk Core and Asset Management systems which provides quality reporting, process management transparency and support for over 4,500 devices to include workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, Blackberry and other Personal Digital Devices as well as servers.
