RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2010/53 to amend Section 5 - Salaries of the Memorandum of Understanding between Contra Costa County and Public Employees Union, Local One, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on July 21, 2009 (Resolution No. 2009/365), to change the effective dates for the classifications listed below from August 1, 2009 to July 1, 2009.

FISCAL IMPACT:

100% Federal Headstart funding.

BACKGROUND:

The Local One Memorandum of Understanding approved by the Board of Supervisors on July 21, 2009 lists the salary increase for the classifications of Site Supervisor I - Project, Site Supervisor II - Project, and Site Supervisor III - Project as three and six-hundredths percent (3.06%) with an effective date for the increase as August 1, 2009. This amendment reflects the correct effective date discussed during bargaining.
