RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a contract with the City of Vallejo authorizing its Police Department to use two dispatch consoles in the Sheriff’s Communications Center for dispatching for the period June 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.

This is a nonfinancial agreement.
BACKGROUND:
The Office of the Sheriff will provide two dispatch consoles located at 40 Glacier Drive in Martinez for limited law enforcement activity for the City of Vallejo. The City of Vallejo is in the process of building a new dispatching center and needs a safe environment to house their dispatchers until their new center is completed. The Office of the Sheriff will not provide any dispatching services other than providing space within the dispatch center for dispatching purposes. This agreement includes a provision for mutual indemnification between the City of Vallejo and the County.
