RECOMMENDATION(S):
ADOPT Ordinance No. 2017-04 amending the County Ordinance Code to exclude from the merit system the new classification of Sheriff's Chief of Management Services-Exempt.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost associated with this action.
BACKGROUND:
This action adopts Ordinance No. 2017-04 as introduced on March 28, 2017. The Ordinance will ultimately add the position of Sheriff's Chief of Management Services-Exempt to the listing of positions exempt from the merit system in County Ordinance Code section 33-5.311.
