RECOMMENDATION(S):
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #23-448-5 with Garda CL West, Inc., a corporation, in the amount of $22,500, for the provision of armored transport services to the Contra Costa County Health Services Department for the period February 1, 2016 through January 31, 2017
FISCAL IMPACT:
This contract is funded 100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I. (Rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On March 31, 2015, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-448-3 with Garda CL West, Inc. for the provision of armored transport services to Contra Costa Health Services Department, for the period from February 1, 2015 through January 31, 2016.
Approval of Contract #23-448-5 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide armored transport services to the Contra Costa Health Services Department through January 31, 2017. This contract includes changes to the County Standard General Conditions, Paragraph 18 (Indemnification).
