RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Traffic Resolution No. 2009/4292 to prohibit parking between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily for vehicles 6 feet or more in height (including any load thereon), or 20 feet or more in length on both sides of Dean Lesher Drive (Road No. 4285H), beginning at a point 215 feet north of the north curb line of Commercial Circle (Concord Road) and extending north a distance of 370 feet, Concord area. (District IV)

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

Requested by the County's Watershed Program to prohibit parking of trucks and other large vehicles.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Unable to use local authorities' powers to enforce the California Vehicle Code.
