RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPOINT Arthur Mijares to the Local Committee Seat, Oakley on the Advisory Council on Aging, as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None

BACKGROUND:

Mr. Mijares was appointed to the Advisory Council on Aging by the City Council of the City of Oakley with a term of September 30, 2012. Mr. Mijares replaces Terrese Robison who vacated this position on November 15, 2011. Mr. Mijares address is: 504 Brooks Drive, Oakley, CA 94561.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Advisory Council on Aging will have difficulty conducting routine business
