Members include one Supervisor from the County Board of Supervisors, the directors of the County departments of Health Services and Employment and Human Services, and a representative from the County Administrator’s Office of Children’s Services. The other five members of the Commission are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and represent each Supervisorial District. Commissioners and Alternate Commission members represent various disciplines and backgrounds including pediatrics, early childhood education, child welfare, and schools.
