Fred Finch Youth Center, Families First, and Seneca Residential & Day Treatment Center for Children work collaborative with the County and school district personnel in developing program services and policies. The Primary goal of their Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) Program and non-Medi-Cal mental health programs are to continue to provide seriously disturbed children with the services and the support they need to function effectively in school, at home, and in the community.
On July 22, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved Interagency Agreement #29-513-10 with Mount Diablo Unified School District, for the period from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009, for the provision of professional mental health intervention and day treatment services to designated students at Sunrise Elementary School, Belaire Elementary School, Riverview Middle School, Glenbrook Middle School, Pleasant Hill Middle School, Delta View Middle School, Mount Diablo High School, and Olympic/Alliance High School, and their families.
Approval of Interagency Agreement #29-513-11 will allow Mount Diablo Unified School District to continue to pay County for the provision of professional mental health services through June 30, 2010.
