There is no cost associated with this action. Upon transfer of the fee title areas to the DBCSD, those operating
costs will be the responsibility of the District.
This Board, on March 17, 2009, approved a Notice of Intention fixing April 7, 2009 at 9:30 a.m., or thereafter, in its chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California, as the time and place when it would meet to consummate the conveyance of the real property described herein to the DBCSB; said Notice was duly published in the Contra Costa Times newspaper.
The overall project consists of transferring real property from the County to DBCSD and entering into an agreement between the County and DBCSD to operate and maintain street landscape strips, medians, pedestrian paths, pedestrian bridges, sound walls, sidewalks, and signs within Countywide Landscape District LL-2; Zones 35, 57, and 61, and the Discovery Bay West Parking District. The County intends to transfer the following fee title to DBCSD: Regatta Park and three parking lots (Zone 57), Slifer Park (Zone 61), and a Park and Ride (Discovery Bay West Parking District).
Without Board approval, these properties could not be conveyed to the Discovery Bay Community Services District.
