RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2023/215 approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to partially close a portion of Fred Jackson Way between Chesley Avenue and Market Street, on July 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., for the purpose of the North Richmond Parade and Festival, North Richmond area. (District I)

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department. The road closure is requested to provide a safe location to gather for the community festival.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Applicant will be unable to close the road for planned activities.
