BACKGROUND:

The Board of Supervisors received a letter dated September 22, 2011, from Pamela A. Forbus of the office of Al Warren Hoslettt representing the Board of Trustees of Reclamation District No. 2026, advising that pursuant to a Notice Calling for Nomination Petitions for two (2) vacancies on the Board of Trustees, a nominating petition was filed for the above-named individuals. Pursuant to Water Code Section 50741, a notice was published on September 21, 2011 advising that no election would be held in Reclamation District No. 2026 for offices of Trustee. The Board of Trustees respectfully requests that the Board of Supervisors appoint the above listed individuals.  
  

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Board of Trustee seats for Reclamation District No. 2026 will remain vacant.
