RECOMMENDATION(S):
ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 25705 to decrease the hours of one (1) Certified Medical Assistant (VTWC) position #12077 at salary plan and grade TA5-1088 ($3,863 -$4,696), from 40/40 to 32/40 in the Health Services Department. (Represented)
FISCAL IMPACT:
This action will result in an annual cost savings of approximately $17,139 with $6,647 in pension costs already included. (Hospital Enterprise Fund I)
BACKGROUND:
Incumbents in this classification have the ability to request that their position hours be increased or decreased, as outlined in their MOU. The department has determined that the reduction of hours for position #12077 from 40/40 to 32/40, as requested by the incumbent, will have no significant impact on meeting service needs within the Bay Point Community Wellness Center.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action is not approved, the department will not be able to fulfill the request of the incumbent.
