RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #24-259-64 with Center for Human Development, a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $672,252, to provide Substance Abuse Primary Prevention Program services for high-risk youth, for the period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This contract is funded 100% by Federal Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Primary Prevention. (Rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
This contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing specialized substance abuse prevention programs so that youth are provided an opportunity to prevent or recover from the effects of alcohol or other drug use, become self-sufficient, and return to their families as productive individuals.
